L’Ecole Culinaire offers new certification | Schools

(WMC-TV)- If you work in the food service industry, there’s a condensed program that can help advance your career.

L’Ecole Culinary, a culinary training school, is now offering a nutrition and dietary management certification program.

The ten week program and passing the certified dietary manager examination offers tha chance to earn additional certificates, according the school.

“Culinary professionals need to be ever more cognizant of these dietary components as restaurants, medical facilities, food service, and school systems are required to display nutritional values or provide meals prepared to serve those with dietary concerns.” said Bonnie Delashmit, campus director for L’Ecole Culinaire. “The public is becoming more conscious of these services and the demand for culinary professionals with an extended nutrition understanding is steadily increasing.“
