Pet of the Week: Inca the hound puppy | Pets

Inca visited the Action News 5 studio from the Memphis Humane Society of Memphis and Shelby County.

She is a 3-month-old hound mix.

A hound mix is the HSMSC's best guess considering she is so young, their guess is based partially on her long ears and how much she sniffs.

Inca came to the humane society with a couple of siblings from a hoarding case.

They were too young to eat kibble, and were bottle fed in a foster home.

She is spayed, neutered and available for fostering which means after her vaccines she can be adopted.

Inca may grow to be 40 to 60 pounds depending on her breed.

It is $96 to adopt. If you are not able to adopt this holiday season, you can participate in the HSMSC's Angel Tree program. For $25 you support an animal through the holiday season and receive and ornament.
