Lakeland Senior Center to host “Tech Tuesdays” for seniors | People
Are you 55 and over and interested in learning computer basics or advancing your skills? Now’s your chance!
Mavis Knight will provide intermediate computer training from 9:00 a.m to 10:00 a.m. and introductory computer basics at 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. each Tuesday.
The first class will be Tuesday, October 23rd at the Lakeland Senior Center.
Classes are free but are limited to persons ages 55 or over.
The introductory class includes such essential skills as how to get online and how to set up an email account.
The intermediate class includes instruction in Microsoft Office, cleaning out all that garbage on your computer and what the toolbars mean!
Senior are encouraged to attend both classes if they wish! And they are also asked to bring questions to share with the instructor at the beginning of each class! Mavis feels there is no such thing as a dumb question about computers!
Limited number of computers are available, so bring your laptop if you have one. Call 901- 746-8195 to reserve a laptop computer. Limited laptop computers are available. Free Wifi is available.
