Residents petition for nicer street lights | News

Some south Cordova residents have started a petition to get nicer street lights in their neighborhoods.

There is a website set up now for South Cordova residents that opposes "large ugly street lights in south Cordova".

This is the same part of Shelby County recently annexed by the City of Memphis.

They also have a de-annexation petition.

Residents are meeting Thursday night about the de-annexation petition at 6:30 p.m. at the Old Cordova Community Center on Sanga Road.
