City offers Training Camp for Dads | Events

(WMC-TV) – Some special Memphis dads will get recognized by the mayor during the sity’s Training Camp for Dads.

Mayor A C Wharton will honor a select few fathers with the 2012 hall of Fame Awards. You can nominate a dad by clicking here or by calling 901-576-6507.

The event will take place on June 30, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., at the University of Memphis’ Fogelman Executive Center. Registration and breakfast will begin at 8:30 a.m.

The event will feature a kids’ corner and special programs for moms too.

The Training Camp for Dads is free with the donation of a non-perishable food item to the Mid-South Food Bank.
