NAACP hosts candidate forum | Events

Candidates running for city offices have been invited to take part in a forum hosted by the NAACP local branch this Sunday.

The event will be held at Mt. Olive CME Cathedral Church at 4 p.m. The church is located at 538 Linden.

“The Memphis branch strives to empower voters through voter registration, voter education opportunities; get out the vote efforts and election monitoring,” said a spokesman in a written statement. “We want to be sure that everyone can vote and vote early for the candidate of your choice in a free election.”
