Woman charged with soda can vandalism | Crime

(WMC-TV) - Police say a woman was arrested this week after she threw a soda can at another driver and later challenged the woman to a fistfight.

Valerie Peters has been charged with vandalism for the July incident.

The victim told police that she was driving in Cordova when Peters tossed a soda can at her car, denting the side door. The woman also told officers that the Peters hurled a racial slur at her.

The victim told police she followed the other Peters' car and was able to copy her license plate number. Officers say when the 2 drivers stopped at a red light, Peters got out of her car and asked the victim if she wanted to fight.
