Drunk driver hits park ranger’s truck | Crime
A Memphis man was charged with DUI and child endangerment after he allegedly ran into the back of a park ranger’s truck inside Shelby Farms.
Mark Tramontozzi was driving near Mullins Station when he smashed into the back of the ranger’s vehicle around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday according to court records. Two inmates on a work release detail were also with the ranger at the time of the accident. The ranger told deputies Tramontozzi was belligerent and smelled strongly of alcohol.
Tramontozzi’s two-year-old daughter was in the back seat of his vehicle. No one was injured during the crash.
Mark Tramontozzi is facing DUI and child endangerment charges. He’s also accused of refusing to submit to a breathalyzer.
