We are sending a high-5 out to the "Pamoja" club from Houston High school.

They volunteered at the Lester Commuity Center on Wednesday.

"Pamoja" means togetherness in Swahili.

It's a club at Houston High school made up of mostly minority students who do volunteer work in the community.  

A few times a year, they visit the Lester Community Center and help the kids with homework, play games, exercise, give out snacks and school supplies.

This time they made a large poster with all the kid's handprints and they wrote what they are thankful for just in time for Thanksgiving.

These are some very inspiring kids in our community.
